Defination of Malaysia's Independence Day

Hai guys , Assalamualaikum. Are you okey today?. Today i want to share with you about Malaysia's Independence Day.

An Independence Day is an annual celebration observing the anniversary of a nation's independent statehood, usually after ceasing to be a colony or part of another state. All countries honor their respective independence day, celebrating it as a national holiday.

Malaysia's independence day, known as Hari Merdeka.  'Merdeka'  was a much used word in the region during the anti-colonialist and pro-independence movements in Malaysia,Indonesia and Singapore. On 31 August 1957, Malaysia got its independence from the United Kingdom.

The first prime minister of Malaysia,Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj spearheaded the effort for independence ,leading a delegation of ministers and political leaders of Malaya (Now Malaysia) in negotiations with the British in London for merdeka, or independence.

The ceremony took place just past midnight on 31 August 1957,where the Malayan flag was raised and national anthem negaraku was sung.Tunku Abdul Rahman called out "Merdeka" seven times at the merdeka square called dataran merdeka .

In agreement with the concept of 1 Malaysia, designed by the prime minister,Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak, merdeka celebrations is matched to a different theme every year. These themes have a customised slogan and a special song slogan that is oriented toward unity as Malaysia has a large mix of Malay, Indian and chinese cultures with different ideologies and religions. All religions come together to celebrate with parades , cultural events and fireworks.

We must blessed because we at peace country. Thats all thank you.

The storie that inspire me

Assalamualaikum and Hai to my lecturer and fellow friends.Today i want to share with you the movie that inspire me that is The Family Man.

The Family Man is a comedy drama about a higly sucessful, single investment banker who gets to experience how his life would have been if he made a different decision 13 years ago. It's a movie with a 'what if i had done this instead?' experience and contrasts the life of one with great wealth and success vs. a quiet family life. It's a great movie to that sparks thoughts about your life, though i'm not exactly in agreement with the indirect message the movie sends that life has to be an either or scenario. It encourages people to justify not pursuing career or wealth goals because they have a family,or that they shouldn't pursue love or have a family because they're busy with their career. Both are achievable.

What i do like is it gets you to reflect on what you're currently doing in your life.If you continue what you're doing today.where is it going to lead you? A life just living for others but not for yourself? If not, what are you going to do to change this outcome?.These have same alternate reality scenarios that get you thinking about your life.

   That all for today.Thank you.

Types of rendang

Assalamualaikum to my lovely lecturer and my friends.Hai ! Today i want to share with you about Traditional food that is Rendang.Wow! sound like delicious right? .If you want to know the detail about Rendang you must read this.

Rendang is a spicy meat dish which originated from Minangkabau ethnic group of Indonesia, and is now commonly served across the country. There are two types of rendang, that is dried rendang and wet rendang or kalio.

According to Minangkabau tradition, their true rendang is the dry one.Rendang is diligently stirred, attended and cooked for hours until the coconut milk evaporated and the meat absorbed the spices. It is still served for special ceremonial occasions or to honour guests. If cooked properly ,dried rendang can last for three to four weeks stored in room temperature and still good to consume. It can even last months stored in a refrigerator, and up to six months if frozen.

Wet rendang, more accurately identified as 'kalio', is a type of rendang that is cooked for a shorter period of time and much of the coconut milk liquid has not evaporated. If stored at room temperature, kalio lasts less than a week.Kalio usually has a light golden brown colour, paler than dry rendang.

This are the photo about wet and dried rendang:

That's all for today .Thank you .

First week in KPTM Bangi

Assalamualaikum,

Firstly, i want to introduse myself. My name is Sharifah Nur Wahida Binti Syed Ahmad Nizar .I studied at Kolej Poly Tech Mara Bangi (KPTM Bangi) and i took Diploma in Accountancy .It is very challenging 3 years to me because i start my new journey with a new environtment.Today i want to shared with my fellow friends and lecturer about The difference between life at the hostel and life at home in my first week in Kolej Poly Tech Mara Bangi (KPTM Bangi).

Hostel life is living away from home in another place with strict rules but home life is free from rules and regulations.Living in the hostel  have several rules and regulations that make it not as enjoyable as living  in our own house .Home life doesn't have such restrictions and strict rules.

Secondly, hostel life teaches you to be self-disciplined and you are expected to follow all of the rules given but living at home, you are not expected to be having any strict rules such as in hostel life. Moreover, living in a hostel teached you how to be quicker and not wasted your time with things that didn't bring any benefit while living at home, you are expected to have a lot of free time.

The students who enjoyed home life are not bound by the time to took lunch and dinner but it is different to students who live in hostels where they have to get used with eating in a specific schedule .Living in the hostel, you will possibly be dealing with homesickness compared living at home. It's took some time to become familiar with the people in Kolej Poly Tech Mara (KPTM Bangi). This is one of the main differences between hostel life and home life.

That all i want to share about the difference between  life at the hostel and life at home.Thank You.
